  • Saturday, Sept. 8, 9:00 AM: Bi-weekly NARC "Coffee Call" breakfast. Eat'N'Park Restaurant, 1617 N. Atherton St., State College (Near the WallyWorld Stupor Center). Open to all members and any interested guests. Talk-in on 146.85 MHz.
     
  • Tuesday, Sept. 11: NARC monthly meeting.
    Location: South Hills School of Business and Technology, 480 Waupelani Dr., State College. Open to all members and any interested guests.
     
    Program: "Strange Antenna Contest" Members are invited to bring in strange 2-Meter antennas they have designed. The following rules apply.
     
    • Antenna must fit through the door to the meetingroom.
    • SWR must measure 2:1 or better.
    • Antenna's feedline must be less than 10' long.
    • Antenna must be able to contact the .85 repeater.
     
  • Saturday, Sept. 15, 10:00 AM: Activity Day at the mountaintop clubhouse. Soft drinks available, snacks may be served at a later hour. When in doubt, BYOF.
