January 9, 2007 Membership Meeting

The Club heard a presentation on Emergency Radio Preparedness by Carmine K3CWP. He discussed appropriate equipment to have packed in a "Go Kit," and also personal supplies needed to help a radio operator survive for the critical first 72 hours of emergency operation. Woody K3YV added information about appropriate antenna systems for emergency use, such as the portable Arrow Antenna pictured (rear).
